Today we visit Braeside House Bed and Breakfast in St Andrews, where James and Margaret share three of their best golf stories. I especially enjoyed their tale of how they managed to secure marshalling jobs at the 4th and 17th holes for the PLAYERS Championship at TPC Sawgrass. In addition James tells me how he walked the full 18 holes at Augusta during The Masters with his son and Colin Montgomerie! I then noticed a photograph of Margaret and Hugh Grant in the lounge and hear how she regularly scores for the celebrities during the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews

Today we learn how to create the perfect cheese board. Svetlana Redpath from The Guid Cheese Shop in St Andrews gives her thoughts on how to prepare a cheese board or cheese plate.

Ultimately you want to include as much variety as possible from the cheese world. This means including different textures, milks and flavours. Thus you could include cow’s milk, sheep’s milk, goat’s milk, soft, semi firm, hard and cheese blue.

Alternatively you can base your cheese plate on different textures from the one kind of milk, for example five cheeses all made from sheep’s milk.

Today we are with Prince William chatting about golf. This was recorded during Prince William and Kate Middleton’s visit to St Andrews University whilst launching its 600th anniversary celebrations. Crowns packed North Street as the Royal couple greeted well wishers. I was fortunate enough to get some great close up footage of both William and Kate and if you missed the day I believe you will thoroughly enjoy this video.

The couple married on April 29 at Westminster Abbey and beforehand took this opportunity to visit the place they met and fell in love, he said it was like “coming home”. This was first visit since graduating back 2005 and he was quick to say he considers it the best university in the world.

As patron to the 600th Anniversary Appeal Prince William will help bring awareness to the task of generating new funds for scholarships at the university.

In this episode we chat to Svetlana Redpath from The Guid Cheese Shop In St Andrews. Today she gives her top three cheese recommendations from Scotland with a selection of Isle of Mull Cheddar, Corra Linn, and Dunsyre Blue.

The Isle of Mull Cheddar is a traditional artisan farmhouse cheese. Made at Sgriob-ruadh Farm, close to the town of Tobermory, this is definitely a cheese you should try.

Corra Linn is a sweet and nutty cheese made from sheep’s milk which is matured in cloth for between six and ten months. It’s handmade at Walston Braehead Farm in Lanark, South Lanarkshire.

Dunsyre Blue is a mould ripened hand made cheese from Walston Braehead Farm. They take the unpasteurised milk from the neighbouring cows at Kirklands Farm Dunsyre.

Next time you are in St Andrews I highly recommend you visit The Guid Cheese Shop just off South Street in Burghers Close.

This Scottish links course is set in a stunning seaside location just 7 miles from St. Andrews. The wide fairways stretch along 2 miles of spectacular coastline in East Fife.

The par 4 7th is a long tough hole at 470 yards from the championship tees. It’s important to miss the large hollow on the left side of the green, as recovering from here can be tricky.

In episode 20 HomeofGolf.TV continues to help local businesses in St Andrews and Fife use video marketing to increase their sales, improve relationships, grab attention and build their brand.

This episode features The New Golf Club St Andrews where a video was created to increase their temporary, overseas and UK memberships. The strategy was based on direct marketing principles whereby viewers are encouraged to sign up for further information via email. This allows The New Golf Club to automatically communicate via email using an autoresponder system. This online system leverages the power of video marketing whereby prospects are be converted into members on autopilot.

Over the next few months I will be working closely with the golf club to leverage the power of the internet, email and video marketing to build several large mailing lists of golfers interested in their temporary, overseas and UK memberships.

Here to help promote your business as well.

If you are restaurant, retail shop, professional or service provider in St Andrews who would like to tell your own story on location I can definitely help you using online video marketing strategies. The result will be a customised 1 minute interview style video used to increase conversions on your website and send increased targeted traffic to your website from the major video sharing sites like Youtube.com, DailyMotion.com, Vimeo.com and Metacafe.com.

If you are a little further afield outside St Andrews and Fife I am still in a position to produce a video for your website. I can have a professional voice over artist record a custom script for you, that is then laid over a 30 second photo montage to create increased interaction on your website.
