Today HomeofGolf.TV features James Saxon from the St Andrews Whisky Society / Quaich Society and The Scotch Odyssey Blog, Craig Johnstone (brand ambassador for Bruichladdich Distillery and Doug Clement from Kingsbarns Distillery. This is an introduction to the Quaich Society. Quaich is a word for a cup for drinking whisky. Every other Thursday someone from a distillery or someone who writes about whisky gives a presentation and tasting at the Scores Hotel in St Andrews. Typically you get to taste about 5 different whiskies. It’s open to St Andrews University students and the general public.
