Prince William and Kate Middleton visit St Andrews University – Episode #19
Posted on 25. Feb, 2011 by Andy Brown in Events, St Andrews
Prince William and Kate Middleton visit St Andrews University to launch its 600th anniversary celebrations. Crowns packed North Street as the Royal couple greeted well wishers. I was fortunate enough to get some great close up footage of both William and Kate and if you missed the day I believe you will thoroughly enjoy this video.
The couple will marry on April 29 at Westminster Abbey and took this opportunity to visit the place they met and fell in love, he said it was like “coming home”. This was first visit since graduating back 2005 and he was quick to say he considers it the best university in the world.
As patron to the 600th Anniversary Appeal Prince William will help bring awareness to the task of generating new funds for scholarships at the university.

Great video Andy
There’s no doubt that being the same size as Hagrid helped you see over people’s heads

Hello Andy,
It was worth watching just to see William’s thinning top. But more than anything else I am in love with Syd (is that his name ?)
Thanks and cheers
Andy’s Reply: Many thanks for the comment. Sid is his name … hope to feature more of my wee pal in future shows!
